Bliss & Peace, Stress & Release

Bliss: euphoria, blessedness, felicity, gladness, joy, paradise.
Stress: pressure, agony, dread, worry, disquiet, hardship.

Your experiences, mindset, and environments color every part of your reality in this life, and how you treat yourself—whether that’s self-flogging and constantly putting yourself last or self-healing and saying “yes,” to the universe—creates a path.

I’m not unrealistic enough to believe that stress, often incredibly profound, doesn’t exist. Like most of you, I imagine, I’ve personally experienced burdens, significant loss, and sorrow, but we sometimes (perhaps much of the time) forget about our God-given superpowers.

Summoning them up can be challenging, requiring making choices, like not always being your head, overthinking, overdoing, attempting to rescue everyone, or, impossibly, managing the world.

To live into your highest self with these superpowers, you need to decide to lean into and listen to your spirit and liberate yourself from the chains of the past that keep you feeling weak or valueless, remembering to stay connected to your sacred energy, not the cacophony of noise around you.

Work to heal the scars that scab over rather than choosing to go back and experience those wounds again. Remind yourself, as often as necessary, that you are not simply your mind but so much more. Then, direct your life—not like a perfected stage play—but genuine and self-honoring, leaning into and listening to your spirit while opening closed doors with a child-like curiosity instead of allowing fear or your three-pound brain to have all the power. (We are spirit energy, not simply beings inhabiting our broken planet.)

It sometimes seems easier to stop “feeling” or choose flight over the fight for your well-being, forgetting your magnificence. But if you connect with your emotions instead of hiding them under a rock, or allowing them to fester in the dark, growing like mold, you start the process of the ancient remembering of who you genuinely are: magnificent, beautiful, worthy, precious, and loved.

May today bring you bliss and peace.
With Love,
Kay
